Daniel Rojas – Fulbright Semi-Finalist

Daniel Rojas is a graduating senior majoring in Criminology, Law and Society. Born and raised in East Los Angeles, first-generation and proud. Daniel worked as a Teacher Assistant at UCI’s Children Center where he supervised and administered interactive activities for toddlers – teaching them life skills and creating a safe learning environment. He participated in UCDC Fall 2021 and interned at the Federal Public Defender for the District of Columbia. He received the UC Washington Program (UCDC) Presidential Public Service Fellowship to support his time in D.C. In winter and spring quarter 2022, Daniel Rojas studied abroad at the University of Center, Rome in Italy and International Christian University in Japan. Daniel aspires to become a Public Diplomacy Officer to serve on Fulbright boards to increase and diversify the Fulbright cohort to provide a better representation of the U.S.
