Cassie (Chen) Zhang – Schwarzman Alternate

Cassie is an international student from China and double major in Economics and International Studies. She worked as a Peer Academic Advisor, Study Abroad Peer Mentor, LGBTRC Programs Intern and International Center Programs Intern, where she designed multiple outreach programs. She also conducted research on the One Child Policy’s Affects on the Chinese Economy while studying abroad in Hong Kong. In 2015, she received the Dynamic Women of UC Irvine Spotlight Award and she received Chancellor’s Award of Distinction in 2017.
