Joshua Cook – Goldwater Recipient

Joshua is a high-performing junior double-majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Chemistry and a participant in the Campuswide Honors Program. His research focuses on the interactions between the Toxoplasma gondii parasite and the human immune system. He plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or Bioinformatics and become a professor at a major university, researching prevalent diseases.
