Malak Kudaimi – Marshall Recipient

Malak Kudaimi is a Marshall Scholarship Recipient. Malak is a summa cum laude graduate in two majors, International Studies and Public Health Policy. She completed the Public Health Honors Program and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. After graduating, Malak served as a Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellow in Seattle and Washington, D.C. As the current CalFresh Coordinator at the UCI FRESH Basic Needs Hub, which she helped to establish, Malak manages a team of Student Advocates and builds partnerships across campus. As a Marshall Scholar, Malak will pursue her passion for global health, nutrition policy, and chronic disease prevention in the master’s program in Health and International Development at the London School of Economics and demonstrate her commitment to servant-leadership in her public health career in the Middle East region.
