She is also Director of UCI’s chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious honor society.
Theresa brings extensive advising and writing experience to her role as Scholarship Advisor in the Scholarship Opportunities Program. Since 2016, she was an Honors Advisor in UCI’s Campuswide Honors Collegium, of which she herself is an alumna. Before returning to UCI, Theresa was a Writing Center Instructor and a Pre-Health Advisor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison while conducting graduate research on eighteenth-century British poetry and visual culture. As an undergraduate majoring in English with minors in French and History, she participated in the SOP application process for several fellowships, which ultimately led her to the University of Cambridge where she earned a Master’s degree in English Studies. Coming full circle as a SOP Scholarship Advisor, Theresa is excited to work with high-performing Anteaters in achieving their own fellowship ambitions and post-graduation goals.
David has been involved with the fellowship world since his reception of the Fulbright award as a Ph.D student in 2016 where he traveled to Göttingen, Germany, along with his family. Alongside spending time with his family and dog hiking, boogie boarding, or watching Star Trek, David plays blues and jazz guitar, sings, reads comics, and cheers on either Bayern or the Oklahoma City Thunder.
