Pauline Ho – NSF Honorable Mention

Pauline is a graduating senior double-majoring in Education Sciences and Social Policy & Public Service, as well as a research assistant in Dr. Mark Warschauer’s Digital Learning Lab. Her honors thesis research focused on the effects of Learning Assistants on English Language Learner writing skills in lower-division composition. She received the “Best Undergraduate Poster Award” at the UCI Data Sciences Initiative Spring Symposium in 2016. Recently, she presented her findings at the American Educational Research Association Annual Meeting. She also is one of the recipients of the Chancellor’s Award of Distinction. She will pursue a Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison on Educational Psychology this coming Fall.
