Sauntharya Manikandan – Capital Fellows Finalist

Sauntharya Manikandan is a Finalist for the California Capital Fellows Judicial Internship. A Distinguished Anteater Scholar, she is a graduating senior with a double major in Psychological Sciences and Criminology, Law, and Society with a minor in Digital Information Systems. A member of the Campuswide Honors Collegium, PSCI CHI Honors Society, and the Social Ecology Honors program, her UROP-funded thesis examines the implications of jury notetaking on final trial verdicts. On-campus, she has served as a Peer Academic Advisor for the School of Social Ecology, Lead Teaching assistant for the Saturday Academy of Law program, Campuswide Honors Collegium ambassador, and ASUCI Legal Education and Resource Network Commissioner. She plans to pursue a Juris Doctorate and focus on legislative issues affecting the judicial branch and pursue work in the public sector.
