Victoria Thiem – Fulbright Finalist

Victoria Thiem is a Fulbright U.S. Student Program Recipient to South Korea. A graduating fifth-year majoring in English with a triple minor in Korean Literature & Culture, Political Science, and Humanities & Law, Victoria studied abroad in South Korea for the entirety of her third year with the support of several scholarships, including the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship and the UCEAP Duttenhaver Scholarship, and volunteered at Ewha Institute of Early Childhood Education, where she taught English to preschool-aged children. Following her Fulbright year teaching English to secondary school students in South Korea, Victoria plans to earn a Master’s degree in Political Science with a focus on Asia and pursue a career in the Foreign Service.
