Elizabeth Hafen is a recent first-generation graduate with degrees in Political Science and Psychology. Her research focuses on uplifting marginalized communities through positive policy implementation. Elizabeth conducted her Honors Thesis on the political attitudes of Latina undergraduates in the aftermath of a major political scandal, as well as participated in a research fellowship at the California Policy Lab drafting policies. She received the Presidential Public Service Fellowship Award as well as the Chancellor’s Award of Distinction at UCI.
