Joshua Swank is a graduate student in the Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics (PPE) program at UC Irvine. He also completed his B.A. in Political Science at UCI, graduating magna cum laude. In his five-year stay as an Anteater, Joshua pursued an adventurous, civic-minded pathway. In 2019, he studied abroad in Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian Territories which furthered his interest in diplomacy and political leadership. He later served on Congresswoman Katie Porter’s Youth Advisory Board, interned for US Senator Dianne Feinstein through the 2021 UCDC program, and worked as a legal aide with the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.
