Michelle Wei is a 4th year student at UCI. She grew up in Sunnyvale, CA. Entering as a Social Policy and Public Service major, she decided to emphasize in governance and add a double major in Education Sciences with a specialization in research and evaluation. She is also minoring in management and political science. During her time at UCI, she’s been involved in ASUCI, SPOP, Campuswide Honors, independent research with UROP, the Dean’s Ambassadors Council for the School of Social Sciences, UCI Housing, and Campus Representatives. Michelle is passionate about racial justice and pursues this interest through her internship with the Center for Racial Justice in Education. In the future, she hopes to run for higher office, focusing on making education policy changes that support and reflect the challenges that millions of American students face. In her free time, she enjoys writing yelp reviews, cooking, and making Instagram stories.
