Rosemary Velasquez – Fulbright Semi-Finalist

Rosemary Velasquez is a Fulbright Semi-Finalist. Rosemary is a recent graduate in Education Sciences and Sociology. She specialized in Children’s Learning and Development as well as Digital Media and Learning and was involved with multiple research projects with the Digital Learning Lab and the Working Memory Plasticity Lab. Through the UCEAP multi-destination program, Rose studied abroad in Spain and Italy, focusing on European history and politics. She served in the marketing committee and Spirits and Traditions committee for the Alumni Association and as a mentor to two Undergraduate Undeclared students. Lastly, she joined the inaugural cohort of Graduate Access Preparation Program students, where she learned more about the graduate school process.
