Sauntharya Manikandan – Carnegie Fellows Finalist

Sauntharya Manikandan is a Legal Ops Analyst at TIBCO Software and is a fellow on CAFWD’s Young Leaders Advisory Council and the Legal Education and Access Pipeline. She graduated magna cum laude in Spring 2021 with a double major in Psychological Sciences and Criminology with a minor in Digital Information Systems.

 On-campus she served as a Peer Academic Advisor for the School of Social Ecology, Lead TA for the Saturday Academy of Law, Campuswide Honors Collegium Ambassador, Deconstructing Diversity Initiative Cohort , UCI Admin Intern program, UC Sacramento Program, and ASUCI Legal Education Commissioner. As part of Social Ecology Honors she pursued a UROP funded thesis on the implications of jury note taking on verdicts.

 She is an inductee of Phi Beta Kappa,PSI CHI, and was selected for the Distinguished Anteater Award in 2021. She plans to pursue a JD/MPP and hopes to focus on equitable legal access.
