Kai Malloy – Fulbright Semi-Finalist

Kai Malloy is a Fulbright Semi-Finalist. Kai is a fourth-year Computer Science student with a specialization in Intelligent Systems. He has worked with Professor Bill Tomlinson and the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology group on applications of information technology for sustainability and Professor Padhraic Smyth and the Datalab group on machine learning models for wildfire predictions. He is currently serving on the board of The Green Initiative Fund to empower undergraduate students with the financial resources to launch projects for sustainable causes. Kai also enjoys teaching and is an undergraduate teaching assistant for Introduction to Programming and Discrete Mathematics.
