Emily Ha is a Fulbright Semi-Finalist and a California Capital Fellows Finalist. Emily is a first-generation graduating senior studying Business Economics and Public Health Policy with a specialization in Global Economy and International Issues at the University of California, Irvine. She has served on the board of the Dean’s Ambassadors Council, contributed to research projects in Asian American Studies, Sociology, and Public Health, volunteered at CHOC Children’s Hospital, and led the Prison Education Project. She studied abroad at the National University of Singapore, where she grew her passion for healthcare and conducted independent research on wealth inequality. She was named a semi-finalist for the Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Vietnam and a Finalist for the Executive Fellows internship in the California Capital Fellows program. In the future, Emily hopes to pursue a Masters in Public Health and Business Administration to become a healthcare leader and advocate.
