Janice Zhong – Fulbright S/R Semi-Finalist

Janice graduated from UCI in 2022 with a double major in International Studies and Criminology, Law and Society. As an undergraduate, Janice worked with The Counterterrorism Group, a private intelligence firm, documenting and analyzing global terrorist organizations. She has also worked with Alight (formerly American Refugee Committee) in transcribing frontline reports from humanitarian workers in Ugandan refugee camps. Her time at UCI includes serving as a Deputy Elections Commissioner of ASUCI and participating in Greek life as a member of Pi Beta Phi. She was nominated her junior year for the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She is currently a postgraduate student at King’s College, Cambridge University where she focuses on disinformation, cybersecurity, and digital diplomacy.
