Emma is a graduating senior with an Urban Studies major. For her Honors Thesis project, she is researching the topic of climate change and how it is impacting communities across Mexico and Central America, and their need to relocate if displaced. She volunteered and worked alongside the Sustainability Resource Center as a Pollinator Fellow, raising awareness about the importance of pollinators in our environment. She is interning with Facilities Management to bring sustainability to the UCI campus and working at the Study Abroad Center as a Peer Advisor after spending a semester abroad in Florence, Italy. Currently, she is a marketing assistant for the Green Initiative Fund, whose goal is to fund sustainable projects led by students.
